You will be responsible for greeting customers, responding to their needs, using our system to process transactions and helping customers make informed purchase decisions.
This job does NOT require any experience.
All employees will be throughouly trained and educated on our business before starting.
We are a new small business, so we are especialy looking for individuals who can grow with us.
The hours are completely flexible to your needs, which we are happy to accomodate.
Our store will be open from April to December every year.
It is a renovated farm stand that we are very proud of.
We will be selling items such as:
produce, coffee, baked goods, pantry items, dairy products, our own farm raised meat and eggs, as well as gift shop items such as:
educational children's toys/games, candles, soaps, and much more! Our farm also offers tours for schools, private parties, team building, ect.
Our spring store hours are set as:
Thursday 9am-6pm Friday 9am-6pm Saturday 8am-3pm Suggested shifts for this position are below, however these are flexible.
Thursday:
8am-12pm, 12pm-4pm, 4pm-7pm Friday:
8am-12pm, 12pm-4pm, 4pm-7pm Saturday:
7am-12pm, 12pm-3pm Necessary Skills:
Sense of humor, positive attitude and enthusiasm.
Must be organized, and professional.
Customer service experience Capable of lifting 40-50 lbs.
Work well as a team.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Maintain clean, attractive, fully stocked displays and refrigerators.
Maintain debris and dirt-free floor and dusting.
Greet customers as they enter or exit the Country Store.
Maintain pleasant interactions with all customers to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
Answer customers' questions and provide information about our store products and promote our private tours.
Make sale referrals, cross-sell products and introduce new ones! Resolve customer complaints when appropriate or inform management to address immediately.
Inform manager of low stock, or out of stock items for re-order.
Maintain clean, and orderly checkout area.
Answer the phone with a smile and professionally.
Maintain outside area of any debris and flowers or decorations.
Maintain coffee bar keeping it clean and replenish any supplies needed.
Maintain gift shop and all merchandise to look orderly.
Work well in a team environment and be able to communicate honestly and accept feedback.
